Coping With Stress During Childhood and Adolescence - A Theoretical Concept
Abstract
This study aims to contribute to knowledge in this area by examining coping in detail and revealing the
importance of defining the concept of adaptation according to a theoretical model; that takes into account the
developmental characteristics of the first stages of development (Childhood - adolescence), finally describing the
most commonly used and thoroughly developed measures of coping and its relevance to the characteristics of the
developmental stage
