Consanguineous marriage and its impact on reproductive health (a field study on a sample of families in Laghouat)

Abstract

This study seeks to know the most important social, cultural and health factors that affect
reproductive health through the registration of cases with genetic diseases children.We conducted this
study on a sample of households in the city of LAGHOUAT, which is used to marry relatives.The
ultimate goal of this study is to highlight the marriage of relatives because of its negative
consequences, ie, (in another way) Health implications on the reproductive health of women which in
turn work in the transmission of various diseases for children, especially genetic diseases transmitted
genetically from grandparents to children to grandchildren.There for it is necessary to conduct the
necessary medical examinations that conform the safety of husband and wife in general and relatives
in particular to achieve healthy reproductive health for women and to avoid the various genetic and
non-genetic diseases resulting from the marriage of relatives who’s victims are children
