Abstract
The study aimed to identify the primary school teachers to estimate their
training needs in computer and Internet skills in light of a number of variables. The
study used the describing method with (547) teachers. These were chosen
haphazardly. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher prepared a
questionnaire based on literature and related studies. Results were gained using
statistical analyzing programs (SPSS) using these following methods: the mean,
deviation of standard, T-test, Analysis of variance and effect size (²η).
The study showed a weak effect of variables: gender, years of experience and
qualification in the estimates for teachers training needs. In the light of these findings
the study ended in a number of recommendations.
