Abstract

This study aimed to identify the causes and factors of urban growth and the problem of housing and housing, which were formulated in the following points: revealing the causes of the phenomenon under study, trying to determine the relationship between rapid urban growth and its repercussions on the worsening of housing and housing problems, diagnosing the problem of housing and housing, reviewing the efforts made in the field And the extent to which it alleviates the severity of the problem, whether at the national or local level. The study started from the following problem: Does the rapid urban growth resulting from population increase, rural migration and the economic factor represented in improving the standard of living have a relationship with housing and housing problems? The housing census in the neighborhood, because this project was not completely completed, and other tools were used that served the subject of the research, and a number of results were reached, including: The rapid urban growth has a relationship with housing and housing problems, resulting from several social and economic factors of a quantitative and qualitative nature that fall within the characteristics social and cultural residents.
