Abstract

Human society went through important stages and developments during its historical path, the foremost of which was the important historical event that left a significant impact on the nature and structure of European societies in particular, not only from the social, economic and political point of view, but even from the urban point of view, forming new urban patterns accompanying the process of industrialization that It gradually crept beyond the city limits to the suburbs and the countryside. At the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, its intensity was exacerbated by the urban phenomena it produced, which greatly affected man and his environment. The effects of industrialization and finding appropriate solutions to alleviate the problems that cities suffer from, so a set of decisions and legislation related to the preparation of the urban field was issued, and these measures did not stop at this point, but exceeded them to create new alternatives that serve as a new space free from all pathological urban phenomena and subject to a planning policy Suitable for human life and environment, and this was represented in some projects, the foremost of which was the new cities project.
