Abstract

The psychological disturbances keep wide spreading among the individuals and the
communities in their whole. These disturbances are due to the complexity of the living
conditions with their increasing pace. Thus, the role of the psychologists has become more
than necessary, not only for those whose livelihood depends on, but also for every
individual in search for help to face the socio- psychological hardships. Being so important
as a psychological practice does not mean that it is as efficient as it is required for those
who practise it; thus affecting their performance negatively. Moreover, the patients who
consult them feel less satisfied than they have previously expected. This dissatisfaction
may be due to a number of factors from the part of the psychologists, their training and
their competency, and from the part of the social and cultural fluctuations of the
individuals. Thus, in this article, we are going to focus on some data which we believe that
they hinder achieving a more efficient quality of the psychological practice within the
Algerian environment.
