The social integration of immigrants in the urban field, an applied study in the urban-social field of the city of Laghouat.
Abstract
Internal migration that occurred in Algeria in recent times, especially during the black
decade, due to several factors such as; insecurity, drought, lack of rural development, poverty
etc ... In against part we have the attractions of the city views the availability of facilities of
life. The problem here is not only in the social mobility of rural and rural to urban areas, but
the problem is the issue of adaptation and social integration of immigrants in the cities urban,
social and cultural. Consequently, the objective of this study is to address this issue, and to
examine the phenomenon of realism that has left deep traces in all areas of life. For example,
the problem ruralization of the cities, and the question of dealing with these elements and how
they are integrated in economic and social life, and how they are used, and how they affect the
mobility of the population cities ... etc. However, our study focuses on the issue of integration
of immigrants and non-urban town, and what are the strategies adopted by immigrants;
reaching presence and realize the self, participate in social life and have a social status and
participation in activities, work in government institutions, improving the standard of living,
and access to social housing and finally, how to deal with all the demands of life, main and
complementary, as well as the nature and concentration of the assembly and dispersion of
urban and social field.
