The effect of activating the learner's critical thinking skills on improving educational outcomes

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of activating the learner's critical thinking skills in improving educational outcomes. Use the inductive approach. The most important results of the research were that activating the critical thinking skills of the learner leads to positive effects on the scientific level, such as creativity, innovation, critical reading, critical writing, self-learning and scientific thinking, and the practical level, which leads to a learner capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the labor market and achieving professional achievement and success, and the personal level where practicing critical thinking skills leads to an exemplary, independent, flexible, problem-solving and decision-making personality, also the social level, given that critical thinking directs the individual to re-evaluating social norms and resisting external influences that threaten the cohesion of society. The culture of critical thinking leads to the dissemination of values, ethics and etiquette of difference between members of society
