Abstract
In this study, the researcher dealt with introducing Imam Ibn al-Jawzi and his regular book on the history of kings and nations and his method in defining men by distinguishing their personalities., as well as introducing men through an explanation of their conditions and the conditions of their narrations, by tracing his words and phrases through his regular book on the history of kings and nations
