Analysis of the Islamic values included in the Arabic language book for the fifth year of primary education in the State of Algeria
Abstract
The study aimed to extract and determine the extent of the diversity and balance of Islamic values included in the Arabic language book for the fifth year of primary education in the State of Algeria to be taught for the academic year 2020/2021 in terms of number and repetitions, and categorized them in the areas of values that suit them. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and adopted the method of content analysis. The results showed that the book included 21 Islamic values, with 498 recurrences, distributed across six value domains, social values: 200 recurrences and a percentage of 40.16%, then health and environmental values: 140 recurrences and 28.11%, then economic values: 106 recurrences 21.28%, intellectual and scientific values: 20 recurrences 4.01%, then human rights values: 16 recurrences 3.61%, then doctrinal and devotional values: 14 recurrences 2.81%, The disparity appeared in the number and frequency of values in each field
