1. Commitment to Open Access
All articles published in Science and Knowledge Horizons (JSKP) are fully open access, ensuring immediate availability to all readers without any subscription or payment barriers. This commitment aligns with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, which advocates for free and unrestricted access to scholarly research.
2. License Information
Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows users to:
- Copy and Distribute: Users can freely share the articles in any medium or format.
- Adapt and Modify: Users are permitted to remix, transform, and build upon the work for non-commercial purposes.
- Attribution: Proper credit must be given to the original authors, along with a link to the license.
3. Author and Copyright Holder Rights
By publishing in JSKP, authors and copyright holders grant all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, and perpetual right of access to the work. This includes the right to:
- Copy, use, and distribute the work.
- Create derivative works for non-commercial purposes.
- Make small quantities of printed copies for personal use.
4. Archiving and Repository Deposit
To promote long-term accessibility and preservation, all articles and supplementary materials will be deposited in at least one reputable online repository. This repository will be managed by an academic institution, academic community, government agency, or other well-established organizations that facilitate open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and digital preservation.

5. Compliance with Best Practices
JSKP adheres to best practices in open access publishing, ensuring that:
- All articles are made available immediately upon publication.

- Articles are archived in compliance with international standards for digital preservation.
- The policy supports diverse academic and research communities, promoting knowledge dissemination across various fields.
6. Non-Commercial Use
While users have the freedom to share and adapt articles, it is emphasized that all uses must be non-commercial. This means that articles cannot be used for commercial purposes, ensuring that the integrity of the work and the rights of authors are maintained.
The journal uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve all the published articles. The PKP PN is a part of LOCKSS
