Retraction and Correction Policy

Retraction and Correction Policy
The Social Empowerment Journal adheres to internationally recognized standards and guidelines, including those recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), regarding the issuance of corrections, errata, and retractions of published articles.
The journal is committed to promptly correcting any genuine errors identified by authors, editors, or readers, provided such errors do not affect the overall validity and conclusions of the published work. Corrections will be published in the form of a clearly labeled notice, linked to the original article, and will include the date and nature of the correction.
If an article is found to contain serious errors, fabricated data, plagiarism, or any ethical misconduct that compromises the reliability or integrity of the research, a formal retraction will be issued. The retraction notice will:
- Be clearly marked as a retraction.
- Be linked to the original article.
- State the reasons for retraction in detail (e.g., data falsification, ethical violations, plagiarism).
- Indicate who requested the retraction (author, editor, institution, etc.).
Retracted articles will remain in the journal's online archive, but will be watermarked and labeled as "Retracted" to maintain the scholarly record.
The journal reserves the right to correct or retract articles at any stage of the editorial or post-publication process when necessary to uphold academic integrity.
