Abstract

This study explores the challenges of digital transformation in Algerian university education and its impact on professors’ performance. Based on 31 online questionnaire responses from professors in Laghouat and Aflou, the research used both descriptive and analytical methods, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis.

The findings indicate that digital transformation enhances the performance of university professors. However, technical, organizational, qualification, and cultural challenges hinder academic performance. The study also reveals that digital transformation plays a significant role in addressing these challenges.
