Dirassat Journal Economic Issue • ISSN: 2676-2013 | E-ISSN: 2676-2080
Dirassat Journal Economic Issue (DJEI) strictly adheres to the Core Practices and guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal is committed to fair, transparent, and rigorous academic publishing standards. This policy sets out the formal framework for addressing appeals against editorial decisions as well as handling procedural and ethical complaints.
1. Appeals Against Editorial Decisions
Authors have the right to formally appeal a rejection decision if there is demonstrable evidence of a factual error, scientific misunderstanding, or procedural discrepancy during the peer-review process. Rejections based solely on scope mismatch or standard editorial evaluation without factual discrepancies are not subject to appeal.
Appeal Submission
The corresponding author must submit a formal appeal to the Editorial Office within 30 days of the decision notice, specifying the Manuscript Reference ID.
Scientific Evidence
Appeals must include a structured, point-by-point rebuttal addressing reviewer feedback with objective scientific evidence and methodological validation.
Independent Resolution
The appeal is reassessed independently by members of the Advisory Board or designated external subject experts. Final determinations are delivered within 30 days.
2. Complaints Handling Procedure
This procedure governs complaints regarding publication ethics, unaddressed conflicts of interest, reviewer misconduct, or procedural administrative concerns. All complaints are managed with strict confidentiality, impartiality, and diligence.
