Dirassat Journal Economic Issue (DJEI) is dedicated to maintaining the permanent integrity and completeness of the scholarly record. In resolving post-publication discussions, corrections, expressions of concern, and research misconduct, the journal strictly adheres to the COPE Retraction Guidelines and international indexing standards.

DJEI provides formal channels for robust, post-publication scientific dialogue and intellectual evaluation:

2. Issuing Corrections (Corrigendum & Erratum)

Journal editors will publish a formal Correction notice (rather than a retraction) if a minor part of an otherwise scientifically valid publication contains an honest error that does not invalidate the core findings:

• Corrigendum: Published for unintentional author errors (e.g., typographical mistakes in mathematical notations, mislabeled table figures, or minor contributor corrections).
• Erratum: Published for formatting, typesetting, or layout errors introduced during the journal's editorial production.
• All corrections receive an independent DOI and are permanently linked to the original publication.

3. Issuing Expressions of Concern

The Editor-in-Chief will consider issuing an official Expression of Concern if:

• Inconclusive evidence of research misconduct or data unreliability is brought to the editorial board's attention.
• There is strong evidence that findings are compromised, but the authors' affiliated institution refuses or unreasonably delays an official investigation.
• An institutional inquiry is ongoing, but a conclusive outcome will not be available for a prolonged period.

4. Criteria for Article Retraction

In alignment with COPE standards, journal editors will formally retract a published paper under the following conditions:

• Clear evidence that the findings are unreliable due to grave scientific misconduct (data fabrication, data manipulation) or major calculation flaws.
• Prior Redundant Publication: Conclusive proof that the findings were already published elsewhere prior to publication in DJEI without proper citation or permission. (Note: If DJEI holds undisputed historical priority of first publication, DJEI will maintain its published record and contact the subsequent journal to demand formal retraction while sanctioning the authors).
• The manuscript constitutes confirmed plagiarism, text recycling, or unauthorized intellectual appropriation.
• The article reports unethical research practices, manipulated peer review, or undisclosed critical competing interests.
