Strategic transformations and their effects on the concept of security and power
Abstract
The end of the Cold War, the changing pattern of international relations, and the call for the elaboration of a new international order have revolutionized and transformed in an important field in a strategic field such as that brought about by nuclear weapons. Reconsidering the ladder of values, goals and priorities are the main actors in the international environment, and hence it appears that the strategy in the new decade has become mainly about defining new structural transformations in the international system and regional or even sub-systems.
