Abstract

The aim of this paper is to measure the impact of economic growth on employment in the Algerian economy and to this end this work culminated in an attempt to use the Pearson correlation coefficient R 1982-2005. The study indicates that economic growth has a weak and obligatory effect on employment, and based on this study it is possible to increase the labor intensity of economic growth in particular and increase the volume of employment in general through the application of policies to ensure sustainable economic growth and increase the capacity of the national economy to employ.
