The role of foreign direct investments in transferring knowledge and technology to Jordanian business organizations

Abstract

The study aimed to shed light on the reality of the role that foreign investments offer in terms of transferring technology and knowledge to Jordanian business organizations, where it was expected that many things that touch in business organizations would be presented, and one of the most prominent results that was reached is the size of foreign private investment Recorded in the country was in no way commensurate with the level and ambitions, and in general the indicators for foreign direct investment were very far from what was expected. Among the most prominent recommendations are working on enacting new laws by the Investment Promotion Corporation by granting new concessions to investors to increase the volume of foreign investments in Jordan, and working to activate the tax exemption system for foreign investors to increase the size of workers to improve Jordanian national income.
