Sustainable development and the international dimension
Abstract
This article deals with the issue of environment and development, as international interest in the topic of environment and development has been considered since 1972, when the first United Nations conferences on human development were organized in Stockholm, thanks to which the economic, social and environmental dimension was celebrated with official and popular recognition and acceptance in the year 1992. This interest increased at the national and regional levels The international resulted in a clear acceleration in the establishment of several specialized international conferences that were aimed at affirming and reminding the close relationship between the economy, the environment and people.
