Abstract

The experimental method is one of the most prominent methods of scientific research in psychology, in which the researcher implements a set of procedures within the framework of the experiment as an essential step to verify the hypotheses of his research by introducing the experimental factor as an independent variable on the variable dependent. In order to prove that the changes in the dependent variable as a result are related only to the experimental variable, he must be careful to control, isolate and stabilize the extraneous variables that affect the internal and external validity of the experimental design by ensuring parity in the intrinsic characteristics of the sample members and selection random in their choice.
