Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of teaching using the learning strategy on discovery on the achievement of the ninth grade students in the Palestinian government schools in the field of science from the point of view of their teachers and to know if there are differences in the use of learning discovery on the achievement of ninth grade students in the Palestinian government schools in science Due to the variables: gender, academic qualification, years of experience and to answer these questions, a questionnaire was constructed to collect data from the sample of the study, which included (24) paragraphs divided into four dimensions.

The study concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the work on holding workshops for science teachers to explain the concept of learning discovery and its strategies and how to use it through practice and work meetings dealing with the importance of learning discovery by providing the opportunity to strengthen the patterns of learning performance and social students and the stakes of positive values..
