Corporate Governance Framework in Algeria - Reality and Prospects - Empirical Study
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the reality of corporate governance framework in Algeria, according to the principles of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development for the institutions listed in the Stock Exchange Algeria, in order to achieve the objectives of the study was constructed governance index consists of five dimensions represent the principles of governance.
The study concluded that the institutions under study is committed to the principles of corporate governance moderately and recommended that a guide is mandatory for the corporate governance of listed companies Algeria with the study of the compatibility of the legal process and institutional with the principles of corporate governance so as to be a strong base for the governance system effective addition to working on a culture of governance in the business environment Algerian
