Authors who publish in this journal agree to the following terms:

  • - Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  • - Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.

Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published before in their current or substantially similar form or be under consideration for publication with another journal. Authors submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty.

Licensing

All articles are published under the CC BY-NC license. This license allows others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided the original authors are properly credited.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for ensuring they have obtained necessary permissions for any third-party material included in their manuscripts. They must also ensure their work complies with ethical standards and copyright laws.

Reuse and Distribution

Authors are encouraged to share their published work in institutional or subject repositories, as well as on personal or professional websites, in accordance with the terms of the CC BY-NC license.

Submission of Work

By submitting a manuscript to DJEI, authors grant us the right to publish and distribute their work. Authors must agree not to submit the same manuscript to another journal for its first publication.

Infringement and Misconduct

DJEI takes copyright infringement and publication misconduct seriously. DJEI has procedures in place to address any such issues, which may include retraction of the article.
